Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco Firepower Management Center is affected by an arbitrary file write vulnerability due to insufficient user input validation. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to write arbitrary entries in the application's log file on the remote host. Please see the included Cisco BIDs and Cisco Security Advisory for more information.
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug ID CSCvh20053
