Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

A vulnerability exists in the Internet Key Exchange version 1 (IKEv1) feature of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software due to improper management of system memory. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, by sending malicious IKEv1 traffic to an affected device, in order to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition.
