Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.05 / MAIN 5.05, has libwpd packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- In libwpd 0.10.2, there is a NULL pointer dereference in the function WP6ContentListener::defineTable in WP6ContentListener.cpp that will lead to a denial of service attack. This is related to WPXTable.h.
(CVE-2018-19208)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL libwpd packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
