New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.

SynopsisThe remote database server is affected by multiple vulnerabilities
DescriptionThe version of MariaDB installed on the remote host is 10.2.x prior to 10.2.28. It is, therefore, affected by multiple denial of service vulnerabilities:
- Multiple denial of service vulnerabilities exists in the following Oracle MySQL components: InnoDB, Optimizer and PS. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue, to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of MySQL Server. (CVE-2019-2938, CVE-2019-2974)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
SolutionUpgrade to MariaDB version 10.2.28 or later.
