Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco FXOS Software is affected by a command injection vulnerability due to insufficient validation of arguments passed to a specific CLI command on an affected device. An authenticated, local attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying Linux operating system with root privileges.
