Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco Unified Communications Manager is affected by a vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass security restrictions. This is due to improper handling of malformed HTTP methods. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request in order to gain unauthorized access to the affected system.
