Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco IOS XE Software is affected by a vulnerability it the CLI. The source of the vulnerability is insufficient enforcement of the consent token in authorizing shell access. By authenticating to the CLI and requesting shell access, an attacker could use this vulnerability to run commands on the underlying OS.
