Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the Cisco NX-OS Software is affected by a denial of service vulnerability due to improper validation of SNMP protocol data. A remote authenticated attacker, using a specially crafted SNMP packet, can cause the SNMP application to restart resulting in a DoS condition.
