Synopsis

The remote Solaris system is missing a security patch from CPU oct2018.

Description

This Solaris system is missing necessary patches to address a critical security update :

 - Vulnerability in the Solaris component of Oracle Sun Systems Products Suite (subcomponent: Kernel). The supported version that is affected is 11.3. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Solaris executes to compromise Solaris. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Solaris accessible data. (CVE-2018-2922)

Install the oct2018 CPU from the Oracle support website.
