medium Nessus Plugin ID 110653

New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

The remote FreeBSD host is missing a security-related update.

A subset of Intel processors can allow a local thread to infer data from another thread through a speculative execution side channel when Lazy FPU state restore is used. Impact : Any local thread can potentially read FPU state information from other threads running on the host. This could include cryptographic keys when the AES-NI CPU feature is present.

Update the affected package.
