BeyondTrust Remote Support (RS) and certain older versions of Privileged Remote Access (PRA) contain a critical pre-authentication remote code execution vulnerability. By sending specially crafted requests, an unauthenticated remote attacker may be able to execute operating system commands in the context of the site user.

Researchers have observed in-the-wild exploitation of this BeyondTrust vulnerability. On-premise customers should apply available patches as soon as possible.

This critical severity remote code execution vulnerability affecting BeyondTrust Remote Support and Privileged Remote Access should be patched as soon as possible.

The version of BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access (PRA) running on the remote host is 24.3.4 or earlier. It is, therefore, potentially affected by a pre-authentication remote code execution vulnerability:

  - By sending specially crafted requests, an unauthenticated remote attacker may be able to execute operating system     commands in the context of the site user. (CVE-2026-1731)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

The version of BeyondTrust Remote Support (RS) running on the remote host is prior to 25.3.2. It is, therefore, potentially affected by a pre-authentication remote code execution vulnerability:

  - By sending specially crafted requests, an unauthenticated remote attacker may be able to execute operating system     commands in the context of the site user. (CVE-2026-1731)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
