Synopsis

An application running on the remote web server is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.

Description

The version of BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access (PRA) running on the remote host is 24.3.4 or earlier. It is, therefore, potentially affected by a pre-authentication remote code execution vulnerability:

 - By sending specially crafted requests, an unauthenticated remote attacker may be able to execute operating system commands in the context of the site user. (CVE-2026-1731)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access (PRA) version 25.1.1 or later.
