Prism is a syntax highlighting library. Some languages before 1.24.0 are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS). When Prism is used to highlight untrusted (user-given) text, an attacker can craft a string that will take a very very long time to highlight. This problem has been fixed in Prism v1.24. As a workaround, do not use ASCIIDoc or ERB to highlight untrusted text. Other languages are not affected and can be used to highlight untrusted text.

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

The versions of Oracle Database Server installed on the remote host are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the January 2022 CPU advisory.

Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker having     Create Procedure privilege with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Java VM. Successful attacks of     this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS)     of Java VM. (CVE-2022-21393)

  - Vulnerability in the Oracle Application Express (Prism) component of Oracle Database Server. The supported     version that is affected is Prior to 21.1.4. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged     attacker having Valid User Account privilege with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Application     Express (Prism). Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker.
    Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of     service (partial DOS) of Oracle Application Express (Prism). (CVE-2021-32723)

  - Vulnerability in the Core RDBMS component of Oracle Database Server. Supported versions that are affected     are 12.2.0.1 and 19c. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker having Create     Session, Execute Catalog Role privilege with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Core RDBMS.
    Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Core RDBMS     accessible data.(CVE-2022-21247)
