On Demand Training Courses
Students will learn how to deploy and configure a single Nessus scanner on the network. Students will perform a host discovery scan, basic network vulnerability scan, credentialed scan of a Windows target, a Windows compliance scan and a mobile device scan.
Students will learn how to use the compliance features of Nessus that go beyond routine scanning. This applies to regulatory compliance standards and corporate policies. Students will understand how Nessus performs compliance audits and how the audit language can be used for informational gathering purposes.
Students will learn how to apply advanced Nessus features in modern networking environment use cases. Students will perform malicious process detection, advanced analysis of scan results via filters, integration with patch management solutions and scans of web applications, infrastructure and mobile devices.
Students will learn about installation and configuration of the Passive Vulnerability Scanner, host detection, service detection, vulnerability analysis and discuss the underlying technologies utilized by the Passive Vulnerability Scanner.

Participants will learn installation and configuration, best practices for scan zone use, best use of repositories, users and roles, scan policies, active scanning, analysis and reporting and dashboards and alerting.
Participants will learn deployment strategy, installation and configuration, how to set up role-based access, operational scanning, data management, security and compliance analysis and custom reporting. Includes certification: Tenable Certified Security Engineer (TCSE).
Participants will learn installation and configuration of Log Correlation Engine (LCE) with its Log Manager, and LCE Clients in addition to event analysis covering botnet detection, malware detection and intrusion detection. Includes certification: Tenable Certified Log Manager (TCLM).
