Tenable Network Security was recognized by Inc. Magazine in the 2012 Inc. 5000 for its impressive 259 percent growth over 3 years and was the 15th highest-grossing security company in 2011 on the list.

Receipt of the Baltimore SmartCEO Volt Award highlights Tenable's cybersecurity innovation, leadership, and global economic success. Tenable was cited for its unique and revolutionary approach to vulnerability assessment and monitoring — which safeguards networks from security threats.

This marks the third time Tenable Network Security has been recognized with the Emerging Growth Company Award. The award is presented annually to companies that have exhibited consistent, sustainable, and profitable year-over-year growth.

Tenable found prominent placement in SC Magazine's 20th Anniversary Edition. Ron Gula, Renaud Deraison and Marcus Ranum were called out specifically for their accomplishments and insight in the magazine. Ron Gula was named one of the "Market Entrepreneurs" and Marcus Ranum was named one of the "Industry Pioneers" of the last 20 years. Finally, Nessus was named one of the "Top 20 Products" of the last 20 years.

Tenable ranked number 251 on the list of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North American on Deloitte's 2010 Technology Fast 500.
