The remote host is vulnerable to a buffer overflow.

Description

The remote host is using Xine, an open-source multimedia player. It is reported that versions up to 1.0 rc7 are vulnerable to a buffer overflow. An attacker may craft a malicious multimedia file that may execute arbitrary code on the remote host if played with Xine.

Solution

Upgrade to Xine 1.0-rc8 or higher.
