Synopsis

Ray < 2.8.1 Local File Inclusion

Description

According to its self-reported version number, Ray is prior to 2.8.1. Therefore, it may be affected by a Local File Inclusion in the /static/ directory of the Ray Dashboard, which allows an unauthenticated attacker to read arbitrary files on the server.

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Ray version 2.8.1 or later.
