MediaWiki Status Module Information Disclosure

Description

The instance of MediaWiki running on the remote host allows access to API URLs associated with the SiteInfo module. The SiteInfo api endpoint reports information about the server components, how the web server is configured and its usage, and it may prove useful to an attacker seeking to attack the server or host.

Solution

Reconfigure MediaWiki to restrict access to the API SiteInfo endpoint by IP address, or disable the SiteInfo module itself.
