Kibana < 7.12.1 Denial Of Service

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the Kibana application running on the remote host is prior to 7.12.1. It is, therefore, affected by :

- A Denial Of Service in the webhook actions due to a lack of timeout or a limit on the request size (CVE-2021-22139)

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Kibana version 7.12.1 or later.
