Kibana < 7.12.0 Timeout Bypass

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the Kibana application running on the remote host is prior to 7.12.0. It is, therefore, affected by :

- Timeout Bypass due to xpack.security.session.idleTimeout setting is not being respected (CVE-2021-22136)

Note that the scanner has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Kibana version 7.12.0 or later.
