Description

CWE-129 Improper Validation of Array Index vulnerability exists in Automated Logic WebCTRL and Carrier i-Vu Building Automation System products. Software uses an array index that has not been properly validated to ensure it falls within valid array bounds. This can result in out-of-bounds access, and if the resulting exception is not handled (CWE-248 Uncaught Exception), leads to cessation of an essential process within the affected device.

Solution

Upgrade to Automated Logic WebCTRL or Carrier i-Vu version 8.5, 9.0, or later. Support for versions 8.0, 7.0, 6.5, 6.1, and 6.0 has expired.
