New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

The BlackBerry mobile device is vulnerable to an authentication bypass.

Versions of BlackBerry 10.x earlier than are affected by an authentication bypass vulnerability due to its failure to restrict file access in the Wi-Fi sharing service. An attacker can leverage this issue to read, write, or modify data available through the offered fileshares.

Upgrade to BlackBerry or later. The issue may also be mitigated by disabling "Access using Wi-Fi" in the "Settings / Storage and Access" dialog.
