The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

Several vulnerabilities have been discovered in the audiofile library, which may result in denial of service or the execution of arbitrary code if a malformed audio file is processed.

Solution

Upgrade the audiofile packages.

For the stable distribution (jessie), these problems have been fixed in version 0.3.6-2+deb8u2.

For the upcoming stable distribution (stretch), these problems have been fixed in version 0.3.6-4.
