low Nessus Plugin ID 95769
New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)

Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it is different from CVSS.

VPR Score: 4.4

Synopsis

The remote host is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The remote Windows host is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by an information disclosure vulnerability in the Windows kernel due to improper handling of page fault system calls. A local attacker can exploit this, via a specially crafted application, to disclose sensitive information.

Solution

Microsoft has released a set of patches for Windows 10 and 2016.
