High Nessus Plugin ID 92824

The remote Windows host is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.

The remote Windows host is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability in the Microsoft Windows PDF Library due to improper handling of objects in memory. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to open a specially crafted PDF file or visit a website containing specially crafted PDF content, resulting in the execution of arbitrary code in the context of the current user.

Microsoft has released a set of patches for Windows 2012, 8.1, RT 8.1, 2012 R2, and 10.
