New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.
VPR Score: 3.6
SynopsisThe remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.
DescriptionAccording to its self-reported version number and architecture, the remote Juniper Junos device is affected by a denial of service vulnerability in the 64-bit routing engine. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, via a specially crafted UDP packet sent to an interface IP address, to crash the kernel. Note that this vulnerability does not affect 32-bit systems.
SolutionUpgrade to the relevant Junos software release referenced in Juniper advisory JSA10758.
