Apple iTunes < 12.3.1 Multiple Vulnerabilities (credentialed check)

Critical Nessus Plugin ID 86602

The remote host contains an application that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

The version of Apple iTunes installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 12.3.1. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities due to memory corruption issues in the WebKit and CoreText components. An attacker can exploit these to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Upgrade to Apple iTunes version 12.3.1 or later.
