Synopsis

Description

The strtod.c function may allow context-dependent attackers to cause a denial-of-service via a certain floating-point value in scientific notation, which is not properly handled in x87 FPU registers.

Solution

Upgrade to one of the non-vulnerable versions listed in the F5 Solution SOL12650.
