Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description

It was discovered that Vino incorrectly transmitted clipboard activity before authenticating the remote connection. A remote attacker could connect to Vino and monitor clipboard activity.

Solution

Update the affected vino package.
