Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2012:1580 advisory.- kernel: ext4: fix inconsistency in ext4_fill_flex_info() (CVE-2012-2100)
- kernel: incomplete fix for CVE-2011-4131 (CVE-2012-2375)
- kernel: net: acceptation of overlapping ipv6 fragments (CVE-2012-4444)
- kernel: net: divide by zero in tcp algorithm illinois (CVE-2012-4565)
- kernel: mm/hotplug: failure in propagating hot-added memory to other nodes (CVE-2012-5517)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
