high Nessus Plugin ID 62354
New! Plugin Severity Now Using CVSS v3

The calculated severity for Plugins has been updated to use CVSS v3 by default. Plugins that do not have a CVSS v3 score will fall back to CVSS v2 for calculating severity. Severity display preferences can be toggled in the settings dropdown.

Synopsis

The remote web application uses default credentials.

Description

It is possible to log into the remote OpenStack Keystone instance by providing default credentials. Knowing these, an attacker can gain administrative control of the affected application and would then be able to read and write to Keystone, which is used as an identity provider by other services.

Solution

Change the credentials.
