New! Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR)
Tenable calculates a dynamic VPR for every vulnerability. VPR combines vulnerability information with threat intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited in attacks. Read more about what VPR is and how it's different from CVSS.
VPR Score: 3.6
SynopsisThe remote Mandriva Linux host is missing one or more security updates.
DescriptionA vulnerability has been found and corrected in openssl :
Incorrectly formatted ClientHello handshake message could cause OpenSSL to parse past the end of the message. This allows an attacker to crash an application using OpenSSL by triggering an invalid memory access. Additionally, some applications may be vulnerable to expose contents of a parsed OCSP nonce extension (CVE-2011-0014).
