Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for systemtap.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2010:0125 advisory.

 - systemtap: Crash with systemtap script using __get_argv() (CVE-2010-0411)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL systemtap package based on the guidance in RHSA-2010:0125.
