high Nessus Plugin ID 375864

Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 16.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-8990-1 advisory.

It was discovered that Sprockets incorrectly handled certain specially crafted requests when the Sprockets server was used in production. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to access files outside of the application's root directory.
