Package : antiword Version : 0.37-16+deb12u1

Several issues have been found in antiword, a tool to converts MS Word files to text, PS, PDF and XML. Unfortunately no issue has been assigned a CVE id yet. The issues are related to heap out-of-bounds write in several parts of the software or integer divide by zero.

For Debian 12 bookworm, these problems have been fixed in version 0.37-16+deb12u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your antiword packages.

For the detailed security status of antiword please refer to its security tracker page at:

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Debian security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
