Synopsis

The Microsoft .NET Core SDK installations on the remote host are missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the vendor advisory.- Out-of-bounds write in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.

- Improper control of generation of code ('code injection') in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. (CVE-2026-102870)
- Out-of-bounds write in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
(CVE-2026-111497)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
