Synopsis

The Azure DevOps CLI extension for Microsoft Azure CLI installed on the remote Windows host is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The Azure DevOps CLI extension for Microsoft Azure CLI installed on the remote Windows host is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by an information disclosure vulnerability:

 - Origin validation error in Azure DevOps allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. (CVE-2026-69877)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the Azure DevOps CLI extension to version 1.0.7 or later.
