Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 16.2 before 19.2.8, 19.3 before 19.3.5, and 19.4 before 19.4.2 that, under certain deployment configurations, could have allowed an authenticated user to poison cached page content served to other users due to improper cache key construction. (CVE-2026-100755)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 19.2.8, 19.3.5, 19.4.2 or later.
