Synopsis

Adobe Bridge installed on remote macOS or Mac OS X host is affected by a multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The version of Adobe Bridge installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is prior to 15.1.9 or 16.0.8. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb26-167 advisory.

 - Bridge is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-100127, CVE-2026-100128, CVE-2026-100129)

 - Bridge is affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-100126)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Bridge version 15.1.9 or 16.0.8 or later.
