Language:

Synopsis

A VPN solution installed on the remote host is affected by an authentication bypass vulnerability.

Description

The Ivanti Connect Secure install on the remote host is 22.8R2.x prior to 22.8R2.5, 25.1.0.x or 25.1.1.x prior to 25.1.1.2, or 25.1.2.x prior to 25.1.3.0. It is, therefore, affected by an authentication bypass by spoofing vulnerability:

- An authentication bypass by spoofing in Ivanti Connect Secure allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands. Ivanti states this does not impact version 22.7R2.14 or prior. (CVE-2026-104935)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Ivanti Connect Secure 22.8R2.5, 25.1.1.2 or 25.1.3.0 or later.
