Synopsis

Dell Rugged Control Center installed on the remote Windows host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Dell Rugged Control Center (RCC) installed on the remote host is prior to 5.2.206. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - An improper authorization vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to elevation of privileges. (CVE-2026-81473)

 - An improper authorization vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to elevation of privileges. (CVE-2026-56792)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Dell Rugged Control Center version 5.2.206 or later.
