Synopsis

The CentOS Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The CentOS Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TuxCare CENTOS7:CLSA-2026:1784808556 advisory.

- ImageMagick before 7.1.2-26 contains a memory leak vulnerability in the JNG encoder when a blob cannot be opened. Attackers can trigger the memory leak by providing malformed JNG files that fail blob operations, causing resource exhaustion. (CVE-2026-61866)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution
