low Nessus Plugin ID 352075

Synopsis

The CentOS Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TuxCare CENTOS- STREAM8:CLSA-2026:1773653586 advisory.

- When doing SSH-based transfers using either SCP or SFTP, and asked to do public key authentication, curl would wrongly still ask and authenticate using a locally running SSH agent. (CVE-2025-15224)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages based on the guidance in TuxCare advisory CENTOS-STREAM8:CLSA-2026:1773653586.
