Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of webkitgtk4 installed on the remote host is prior to 2.52.6-1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2026-3931 advisory.

Use after free in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.82 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-85049)
