Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 3 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 3 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TSSA-2026:1072 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 3 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2026-33377:
 A flaw was found in Grafana. A user with editor privileges can overwrite a dashboard not owned by them, leading to privilege escalation on that specific dashboard. This allows the editor to gain administrative control over the affected dashboard.

 CVE-2026-42127:
 A flaw was found in Grafana. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit the public dashboard query endpoint by sending arbitrarily large JSON payloads. This vulnerability, caused by a lack of request body size limits, triggers excessive memory allocation, leading to a denial of service through memory exhaustion.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
