The remote device is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The remote NetScaler ADC (formerly Citrix ADC) or NetScaler Gateway (formerly Citrix Gateway) device is version 13.1 prior to 13.1-64.23, 14.1 prior to 14.1-73.37, 13.1-FIPS/NDcPP prior to 13.1-37.279, or 14.1-FIPS prior to 14.1-73.37. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - A remote code execution vulnerability due to improper input validation that can allow an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands. All NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway deployments, including the default configuration, are affected. This vulnerability has been observed to be exploited in the wild.
 (CVE-2026-88771)

 - A memory overflow vulnerability leading to remote code execution or denial of service when DTLS is enabled on NetScaler ADC or NetScaler Gateway. This vulnerability has been observed to be exploited in the wild.
 (CVE-2026-88772)

 - An HTTP request smuggling vulnerability affecting deployments that use LB, CS, VPN, or Authentication virtual servers of type HTTP or SSL. (CVE-2026-88773)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to NetScaler ADC or NetScaler Gateway version 13.1-64.23, 14.1-73.37, 13.1-37.279-FIPS, 13.1-37.279-NDcPP, or 14.1-73.37-FIPS or later.
