Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 4 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 4 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TSSA-2026:1047 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 4 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2026-39919:
 Ghostscript before 10.08.0 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the JPEG 2000 output adapter (base/sjpx_openjpeg.c) that allows attackers to cause memory corruption by supplying a crafted PDF containing a JPEG 2000 image with mismatched component subsampling factors.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
