Linux Distros Unpatched Vulnerability : CVE-2026-63274

medium Nessus Plugin ID 349154

Synopsis

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed with a vulnerability that the vendor indicates will not be patched.

Description

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

- LibreOffice Draw can import PDF documents. A heap buffer overflow existed when importing a stream object.
The length of the stream was taken from the object's own dictionary and was not checked against the number of bytes actually present, so copying the stream read and wrote past the end of the buffer holding it. In fixed versions the declared length is clamped to the bytes actually read. (CVE-2026-63274)

Note that Nessus relies on the presence of the package as reported by the vendor.

Solution

There is no known solution at this time.
