Synopsis

An application installed on the remote host is affected by an incorrect default permissions vulnerability.

Description

The version of Dell Repository Manager installed on the remote host is prior to 3.5.2. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the DSA-2026-419 advisory.

 - Dell Repository Manager, versions prior to 3.5.2, contains an Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability.
 A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges. (CVE-2026-86359)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Dell Repository Manager version 3.5.2 or later.
