Synopsis

The remote host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Esri Portal for ArcGIS installed on the remote host is 11.1, 11.3, or 11.5 and is missing the Security 2026 Update 3 Patch. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - A reflected cross site scripting vulnerability exists in Esri Portal for ArcGIS which may allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to create a crafted link which when clicked could potentially execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the victim's browser. (CVE-2026-69234)

 - A stored cross site scripting issue exists in Esri Portal for ArcGIS that may allow a remote, privileged attacker to inject malicious code that could potentially execute arbitrary script code in a victim's browser.
 (CVE-2026-69235)

 - A stored cross site scripting issue exists in Esri Portal for ArcGIS that may allow a remote, administratively privileged attacker to inject malicious code that could potentially execute arbitrary script code in a victim's browser. (CVE-2026-69233)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the Security 2026 Update 3 patch for Esri Portal for ArcGIS.
